Job Description

Key Responsibilities Direct & Indirect Taxation (GST, Income Tax): Conduct all tax-related reconciliations, identifying and addressing any discrepancies. Ensure timely tax filing and adherence to statutory regulations. Reviewing and Managing Customs documentation and Duty. Liaison with external consultants on a need basis. Compliance Management: Manage MCA (Ministry of Corporate Affairs) filings & compliances. Oversee compliance related to contract labour regulations and maintain accurate records. Process Improvement & Implementation: Develop and implement processes to address gaps and timely adherence to various compliance requirements. Maintain a comprehensive compliance tracker for accurate monitoring. Handling Notices: Address and respond to all statutory notices in a timely manner. Maintain a tracker to monitor notice resolution and closure. Due Diligence & Auditing: Support and manage due diligence processes from a legal & compliance perspective. Support in internal audits, tax audits, and IFC audits. Required Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of financial accounting and compliance standards. Experience: 3 + years Qualification: CA/CMA/ CA Inter / MBA Proficient in tax regulations and statutory filings. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge about customs duty and HSN code is an added advantage.,
