Dear All, We are hiring for a Assistant Manager- Fashion Designer role Experience 3-6 Years. Location: Bangalore Interested candidate kindly share your resume to suhas.r@bewakoof.com Key Responsibilities: Trend forecasting and Research: Possess a great understanding of the key requirements of the brands and ensure no overlaps in design concepts. Research on latest design trends and analyze key trends as per seasonal and brand Requirements Conduct online and market research periodically Design, Range planning: Build on the direction for theme, concept and designs for a complete story / category Develop color palette and concept based on seasons and trends Introduce new techniques, textures, constructions, base fabrics etc., as per calendar Keep the intake margin in mind while designing the product Prepare and present final range presentation Create Tech packs with all detailed information Design, Range Development: Approval of design translations in terms of color cuttings, print strike offs, styling, fit, trims etc. along with the manager Sample development with product team / vendors be involved in sampling from an overall perspective Ensure that key trends are well captured close to season and there is a quick turnaround of the product Ensure product is in agreement with business strategy Understand the brands performance in the earlier season as per feedback from retail team and rework on the design inputs for the forthcoming season Product highlights: Share the key highlights, moods, stories as per the brand requirement with marketing team for photoshoot Finance: To contribute to sell through and rate of sale as per company norms Process adherence: Ensure adherence to Go to Market (GTM) calendar Ensure PLM/Franchise uploads and updates Must Haves: Excellent design and conceptual skills High Proficiency in Illustrator / Photoshop Good communication skills both verbal & written Ability to meet multiple deadlines Proactiveness Multitasking skills Detail oriented Nice to have: A fun demeanor An open mind Competitive spirit Sense of style Being a team player Key Competencies: Visualization Skills Material awareness Problem solver Time management #Fashiondesginer #Knitwear #Photoshop #Illustrator #Meanswear,
