As the GT Customer Supply Assistant Manager at Diageo's Gurgaon location, your role involves managing the Primary Distribution Customer Supply and Secondary Distribution Customer Service activities for GT customers in GBO. You will support a geographically diverse area within GT MENA, Americas, and Europe regions, serving as the first point of contact for customers and collaborators to ensure excellent customer service and timely delivery of customer orders. Reporting to the CE Global Travel Manager, your responsibilities include delivering requested services, meeting targets, line management, reporting, and analytical tasks. You will also be involved in managing, coordinating, training, developing, and motivating the team while being a role model for them. This role requires strong cross-functional teamwork across Customer Supply/Logistics, Finance, Sales, Planning, and Production for process improvements. Your key accountabilities include managing a team of customer service colleagues, ensuring alignment with cash daily, maximizing customer satisfaction, understanding market needs, reducing costs, improving service levels, and building strong relationships with collaborators. Additionally, you will be responsible for end-to-end performance reporting, crisis management, hiring, training, motivating, and developing your team, as well as partnering with other business functions. To succeed in this role, you must possess mastery-level interpersonal and communication skills, customer-centric mindset, positive attitude, ownership mentality, teamwork spirit, and ability to prioritize effectively.
