Job Description
You will be responsible for leading the Electrical function for Green Hydrogen and derivative projects at our company. This role requires you to oversee electrical engineering activities from the initial stages of FEED to the final commissioning phase. Your responsibilities will include ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence, and cost efficiency in the development of utility-scale green hydrogen facilities. As a part of your role, you will be expected to: - Provide technical leadership by overseeing the electrical engineering scope for Green Hydrogen projects, including Electrolyzer, Ammonia, and Methanol. - Review and approve design documents such as Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), load lists, power distribution schemes, and system architecture. - Validate equipment sizing and selection for transformers, switchgears, cables, UPS, battery systems, and associated auxiliaries based on project-specific requirements. - Ensure compliance with relevant international and national standards such as IEC, IS, and IEEE. - Collaborate with FEED and EPC contractors, OEMs, and vendors to ensure quality deliverables and timely project closures. - Coordinate interdisciplinary efforts with Process, Civil, Mechanical, Instrumentation, and Utility teams. - Lead a team of electrical engineers and external consultants, while also engaging with clients, statutory bodies, and internal stakeholders for alignment on technical aspects. - Mentor junior engineers, ensuring adherence to project governance and safety standards. To excel in this role, you should possess: - In-depth knowledge of High Voltage (HV), Medium Voltage (MV), and Low Voltage (LV) systems, transformers, switchgear, and substation systems. - Strong proficiency in equipment sizing and electrical system calculations, including load flow, short circuit analysis, and protection coordination. - Familiarity with power system simulation tools such as ETAP, DigSILENT, and SKM. - Hands-on experience in managing consultants, EPC vendors, and design reviews. - Strategic thinking combined with a hands-on problem-solving approach. - Strong leadership, team-building, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. - Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly evolving clean energy environment.,
