RESPONSIBILITIES - Populating the CMDB and ensuring alignment with Change Management process. - Providing accurate and up-to-date information in the CMS. - Taking and protecting regular snapshots and Configuration Baselines. - Triggering an auditing process on the CMDB. - Implementing a Communications plan using the RACI model for changes in the CMDB. - Ensuring appropriate backups are taken. - Considering the usage of a Definitive Media Library when necessary. - Making recommendations for Service Improvement Plans. - Performing the Service Asset and Configuration process as designed. - Developing a Service Asset and Configuration Management process. - Ensuring the process is fit for purpose and meets objectives. - Sponsoring, designing, and continually improving the process and its metrics. - Following the organization's employment policies. KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES - Strong analytic and decision-making skills. - Effective communication and presentation skills. - Proficiency in conflict resolution. - Technical background with skills in IT technologies. - Experience in IT hardware and software setup, management, and troubleshooting. - Knowledge of Configuration Management including document control, source code management, and Defect Management tools. - Ability to create a CMDB repository and understanding of the software development lifecycle. - Experience in a multi-site environment. - Extensive experience with SCM tools and build automation software. Mandatory Skills: ITIL - IT Hardware Asset Management. Experience: 5-8 Years.
