Job Description

An Assistant Manager - Assembly is responsible for assisting the manager in overseeing and managing assembly operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance with company standards. They typically lead and support assembly technicians, develop and implement processes, and monitor production schedules to meet targets. Key Responsibilities: Production Oversight:Oversee assembly operations, including monitoring production schedules, ensuring timely production, and optimizing processes for efficiency and quality. Team Leadership:Lead and manage assembly technicians, providing training, support, and performance feedback. Process Development:Develop and implement assembly processes, procedures, and SOPs to improve efficiency and quality. Quality Control:Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. Documentation and Reporting:Prepare and present reports on assembly operations, performance, and compliance. Collaboration:Collaborate with production planning, supply chain, and other teams to ensure smooth operations. Inventory Management:Assist in inventory management, ensuring the availability of materials and components. Continuous Improvement:Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
