Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Area Sales Manager to oversee our retail operations across 5-6 stores in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should come from a fashion/clothing brand background and possess strong team management and sales-driving capabilities. The candidate will be responsible for managing store performance, training store staff, ensuring brand standards, and driving overall growth. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee daily operations of 5-6 retail stores across the Mumbai region Monitor individual store performance and drive monthly sales targets Recruit, train, and motivate store staff to ensure high performance and adherence to brand guidelines Conduct regular store visits to audit visual merchandising, product placement, and customer experience Execute local marketing strategies and promotional activities in collaboration with the marketing team Analyze sales trends, prepare reports, and present actionable insights to senior management Ensure inventory control, stock levels, and minimize shrinkage across stores Handle customer escalations and ensure excellent after-sales service Requirements: Minimum 4 years of experience in retail operations (preferably in clothing/apparel brands) Strong team management and leadership skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to analyze numbers and make data-driven decisions Willing to travel across Mumbai for store visits Graduate in any discipline; MBA (Retail/Marketing) preferred Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person,
