The Pharmacy Coordinator role involves coordinating and supervising Pharmacy Assistants and Pharmacy Technicians, alongside performing Pharmacy Technician duties. To qualify for this position, you must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the New Brunswick College of Pharmacists and hold a valid license to practice in New Brunswick. A minimum of two years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician, demonstrating supervisory skills, is essential. Regular attendance at work, ability to fulfill position duties, and a positive work record are also necessary. Key responsibilities include coordinating and supervising Pharmacy staff, conducting checking functions and clinical support tasks, overseeing Pharmacy Technician student placements, and participating in performance management processes. Additionally, responsibilities encompass acquiring, preparing, checking, and distributing medications and pharmaceutical products.
