Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented Area Business Manager with 35 years of experience in the wound care or medical devices sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem and be capable of driving business across government, private, and institutional channels in the assigned region.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and implement effective area-specific sales strategies.

  • Achieve assigned sales targets across government, private hospitals, and institutional accounts.

  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify business opportunities.

Business Development:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including hospital administrators, clinicians, and procurement heads.

  • Identify and onboard new customers and institutional partners to expand market presence.

Tender & Institutional Sales:

  • Lead and manage participation in government tenders and rate contracts.

  • Liaise with cross-functional teams (supply chain, regulatory, marketing) to ensure smooth execution of contracts and customer fulfillment.

Reporting & Insights:

  • Provide accurate and timely sales reporting, forecasts, and territory insights.

  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, market intelligence, and lead conversions.


Candidate Profile:

Must-Have:

  • 3-5 years of sales experience in medical devices or wound care.

  • Deep understanding of the healthcare and institutional sales landscape.

  • Experience in handling government tenders and institutional business.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Preferred:

  • Existing network with hospital procurement teams and healthcare decision-makers in Karnataka.

  • Proficient in CRM tools and reporting systems.
