Job Description

As an Architect specializing in Data Modeling at Tiger Analytics, you will play a vital role in addressing intricate data management challenges to facilitate organizations in becoming data-driven entities. Your responsibilities will encompass transitioning seamlessly between roles as an Individual Contributor, team member, and Data Modeling Architect across projects to conceptualize, design, and deliver actionable insights. Your typical day as an Architect at Tiger Analytics may involve engaging with clients to grasp business requirements and translate them into data models, proposing data structural solutions, creating and maintaining Logical Data Models (LDM) and Physical Data Models (PDM) using best practices, utilizing Data Modeling tools, documenting Source to Target Data Mapping, generating Data Dictionaries, designing automations, contributing to data warehouse and data mart development on Cloud, collaborating with Data Engineers, strategizing ingestion logic and testing, envisioning the next-generation data platform, defining modeling standards and best practices, monitoring project progress, coaching team members, reviewing code artifacts, and participating in proposals and RFPs. To excel in this role, we expect you to have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the Data space, possess proficient SQL knowledge, demonstrate the ability to suggest modeling approaches, exhibit significant experience in RDBMS (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server), real-time exposure to OLAP & OLTP database models, a thorough understanding of Star schema, Snowflake schema, and Data Vault Modeling, familiarity with ETL tools, Data Governance, and Data quality, agility in data analysis, knowledge of cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP), willingness to coach team members and collaborate with stakeholders, experience in leading teams, contributing to proposals and RFPs, stakeholder management skills, and effective communication abilities.
