As a dedicated member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting value analysis and value engineering activities to enhance product design, optimize functionality, and minimize costs. Your expertise will be utilized to lead and contribute to the development of wiring harness systems tailored for automotive applications. Utilizing CAD tools such as CATIA, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks, you will create detailed wiring harness designs that meet the highest standards of quality. Throughout the product development lifecycle, you will play a crucial role in managing design changes, ensuring strict adherence to change control processes and procedures. Your responsibilities will also include the generation and release of engineering drawings, schematics, and charts in compliance with internal standards and industry regulations. Engaging in all phases of product development, from concept design to prototyping, testing, and validation, you will be a key player in driving innovation and excellence. Effectively utilizing PLM software, you will oversee the management of product data, documentation, and revisions, maintaining accuracy and consistency throughout the product lifecycle. Your role will involve managing the Bill of Materials (BOM) for assigned projects, guaranteeing precision, completeness, and alignment with engineering specifications. Additionally, you will coordinate changes to the BOM and ensure seamless communication of updates to relevant teams and suppliers.
