In this role, you will focus on cloud-based runoff platforms for the German life insurance industry, ensuring the delivery of reliable and scalable IT systems. Your responsibilities will include overseeing IT systems and projects related to cloud-based runoff platforms for German life insurance, independently analyzing business requirements to design efficient solutions, creating business and technical concepts, and developing, testing, and implementing IT systems using modern methods and processes. Collaboration with team members to align business and technical goals will also be a key part of your role. To excel in this position, you should have domain knowledge of Life Factory and Java development. Experience in insurance domain applications would be advantageous. It is essential to have a strong willingness to learn and adapt quickly, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to understand both business issues and their technical implications. In addition to technical competencies, you should possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Strong presentation and communication abilities are required to interact effectively with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in software development, strong analytical skills, a good understanding of processes and system workflows, and the ability to comprehend requirements and translate them into actionable tasks for developers.,
