Job Description
The ideal candidate for this position will have 4-8 years of work experience and a degree from NIFT or PEARL, with a preference for those well-versed in Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel, and other software relevant to CADs and illustrations. You will be responsible for understanding upcoming trends and validating them with aspirational brands for commercial assurance. At the beginning of each season, you will create a Colour Board featuring updated shades by purchasing samples from the Brand. Collaborating closely with the team, you will conduct regular market research and presentations to identify trends or styles that can be incorporated into the range for improved business outcomes. Additionally, you will create a Market benchmarking report and share it with the team after visits, as well as conduct internal reviews with the buying team to select the range. Vendor visits for sample development, lab dip approvals for bulk production, artwork creation for selected styles, coordination with vendors, review of strike offs, and providing feedback on pp samples will also be part of your responsibilities. Candidates with experience in the Women's Wear Category will be given preference for this role.,
