You are a creative and detail-oriented Apparel Designer who will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing innovative clothing designs for Kids, Mens, and Womens that align with the brand's identity and market trends. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring designs from initial concept to finished product, including fit analysis, style, and tech pack development for production. Your grade will be determined based on your experience and knowledge in the respective subject. In this role, you will research and analyze current fashion trends, consumer preferences, and market opportunities to inform design concepts. You will create original flat sketches and technical drawings for a variety of apparel products and select appropriate fabrics, colors, and materials to enhance design aesthetics. It is essential to be open to adapting designs on available fabrics as needed. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, and merchandising, will be crucial to ensure cohesive product development. You will participate in fitting sessions to assess garment design and functionality, making necessary adjustments. Additionally, you will prepare presentations and mood boards to effectively communicate design ideas and develop tech packs for the shortlisted product lines. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelors/Masters degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Knit Design, or Apparel Design. Proven experience as an apparel designer or in a similar role is required, along with a strong portfolio showcasing your design capabilities and creativity. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, CLO3D, Canva, and Photoshop is essential, and pattern making skills will be an added advantage. Knowledge of garment construction, types of stitches, seams, pattern appreciation, and accessories selection is also necessary. You should possess excellent adaptive mindset and collaboration skills, along with the ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects effectively. Your technical skills should include technical drawings, apparel design, pattern making, textile design, product development, and expertise in design software. Your collaborative skills and experience in flat sketches (2D/3D) will be valuable assets in this role.,
