As an experienced Application Rationalization Architect, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the application portfolio strategy of our organization. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the rationalization of the application portfolio, driving modernization efforts, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. You will collaborate with business and technology leaders to streamline the existing application portfolio, identify redundancies, propose cloud-native solutions, and lead the adoption of scalable and secure technologies. Your key responsibilities will involve leading the assessment, streamlining, and modernization of the application portfolio. You will work cross-functionally with development, product, infrastructure, and security teams to drive efficiencies and ensure alignment with business objectives. Additionally, you will design and implement scalable cloud infrastructures leveraging containers, microservices, and serverless technologies. Your technical expertise will be utilized as you act as a mentor to teams, providing thought leadership on DevOps, automation, and application modernization. Moreover, you will drive cloud adoption and migration strategies, focusing on performance, cost optimization, and compliance. We are seeking a candidate with 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 4+ years in the application rationalization space. A strong background in application rationalization, modernization, and cloud migration strategies, preferably on Azure, is essential. Proficiency in tools like ServiceNow for application management and expertise in object-oriented programming principles are required. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to critically analyze application functionality for improvement opportunities are highly valued. Experience in building and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructures using Infrastructure as Code and proficiency in programming languages such as C#.Net, Java, or Python are necessary. Nice to have skills include an understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools, familiarity with programming/scripting languages for data manipulation and automation tasks, and experience with collaboration platforms for project tracking and documentation.
