Skill : background and understanding of Chemistry is mandatory Experience working with instruments i.e Gas chromatograpgy( GC/MS) Job Overview Reporting directly to the Department Head - Chemistry, the Analyst will be responsible for providing basic technical support and analysis within the Testing Laboratory. The Analyst will have over 1 to 5 years of laboratory testing experience with demonstrated ability to complete role/duties that are more complex. Has handled a variety of instrumentation for analytical testing and will be able to work independently with minimal/no supervision. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Participates in general lab duties, including administration, logbook review, and operations support. Ensure that work is performed in compliance with good manufacturing practices (GMP), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and the current test method. Writing SOPs Perform analytical tests utilizing GC and other laboratory instruments. Perform other departmental tasks such as supply ordering, assisting with instrumentation training and maintenance, etc Documentation: Ensuring accurate reporting in lab books.
