As a Settlements Specialist at our company, you will be responsible for performing Pre-Matching and Fails Management in adherence to specific market and settlement deadlines. Your role will involve investigating, conducting root cause analysis, and resolving Depot and Nostro breaks. It is essential to understand and meet operational KPIs and SLAs while staying updated on changes in market rules. Keeping standard operating procedures up to date is crucial to ensure smooth operations. In this role, you will play an active part in identifying and implementing process improvements. Timely completion of market-specific tasks, continuous learning of various markets, and regular performance tracking with team leaders will be key responsibilities. Daily checklist completion, maintaining up-to-date process documents, and addressing fluctuating volume and day-to-day issues are part of your routine. Key Performance Indicators for this role include feedback from clients and team leaders, successful process improvements, completion of daily checklists, and adaptability to market rule changes on an ad hoc basis. The ideal candidate for this position must possess the ability to handle equity settlements efficiently for mature and complex markets, including Fails management, Pre-matching, Treasury Management, and Depot/Nostro reconciliation.
