Job Description

As an Analyst, Data Acquisition at Dun & Bradstreet, you will play a crucial role in the Trade Exchange Program-Sales department based in Delhi. Your main responsibility will be to acquire new trade participants in the assigned territory for the D&B Trade Exchange Program. You will take complete ownership of assigned accounts from lead generation to the delivery of the final service offering. Your duties will include daily reporting of all trade data acquisition activities, achieving targets through new data acquisition and existing client mining, and adhering to the data acquisition plan by meeting the budgeted number of trade data prospects every week. You will also be responsible for organizing events with trade associations to approach the target trade prospects. In terms of operations, you will ensure continuous submission of data from trade partners, coordinate with the operations team for data processing, and resolve issues with trade participants through cross-functional coordination. Additionally, you will liaise with the operations team to ensure a smooth delivery of the product and meet the service expectations of the trade participants. It will also be essential to maintain the data and participant contact details in appropriate data warehouses hygienically, and file progress reviews and forecasting reports periodically as required by the management. You will work under the direct supervision of the Manager-Trade Exchange Program and should have an MBA or any post-graduation with at least two years of relevant experience in business development. Excellent concept selling skills, good knowledge of local commercial and industrial belts, working knowledge of basic finance concepts, and strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role. You should also be willing to travel across cities and possess excellent MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, and MS-Word skills. Your primary external interactions will be with key personnel at corporates and SME entrepreneurs, as well as decision-makers at MNCs and corporates. Internally, you will interact with teams such as legal, IT, finance, IT infrastructure, sales team, and heads of other SBU. The competencies required for this role include strong interpersonal skills, proven selling skills (especially handling key accounts), strong communication and presentation skills, and strong research and analytical skills.
