Job Description
As an Analyst, HRIS at Brookfield Asset Management Inc., you will play a crucial role in supporting, extending, and enhancing operational efficiencies within the Human Resources department. You will serve as a thought partner for customer groups, providing valuable insights on business requirements, data presentation, and supporting decision-making processes. This position will require you to collaborate closely with members of the HR Services group, senior global HR leadership, and other senior business leaders across the Brookfield supported footprint. Your responsibilities will include leading functional projects as an HCM subject matter expert, with a deep understanding of HR processes. You will work on configuration areas such as Recruiting, Benefits, Absence and Time off within Workday, managing configuration changes and resolving operational tickets and issues. Documenting new functionality and creating change documentation for any configuration change to Workday will also be part of your role. To excel in this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, along with at least 3 years of experience with HCM in Workday. Your ability to work effectively in structured and unstructured environments, handle pressure, manage changing priorities and timelines, and possess excellent consultative, organizational, customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills will be essential. Strong communication skills, both oral and written, along with planning, prioritization, and time management skills are also key requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel with functions, pivot tables, macros, advanced formulas, etc., is necessary. A customer service-oriented approach, willingness to collaborate, and a commitment to delivering excellent service to internal customers are highly valued. You should be able to work collaboratively in a global team setting.
