The role at hand involves the transformation of data into actionable insights by creating interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI tools. As an analyst, your primary goal will be to facilitate data-driven decision-making, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and cater to both strategic and operational business requirements within the organization. Your responsibilities will include: - **Data Integration & ETL:** Extracting data from various sources such as databases, APIs, and files, and then cleaning and transforming it using Power Query. - **Data Modeling:** Establishing relationships, hierarchies, measures, and tables while utilizing DAX for advanced calculations and KPIs. - **Report & Dashboard Development:** Crafting visually appealing reports with charts, maps, and slicers to ensure interactivity and clear storytelling. - **Performance Optimization:** Fine-tuning data models and queries for enhanced speed, alongside monitoring refresh schedules and service performance. - **Security & Deployment:** Implementing row-level security and access controls, deploying reports to the Power BI Service, and overseeing access governance. - **Stakeholder Collaboration:** Collaborating with stakeholders to gather business requirements, iterating on solutions, and translating non-technical needs into technical designs. - **Maintenance & Support:** Addressing issues, updating dashboards, fixing bugs, training users, and maintaining documentation. - **Continuous Learning:** Staying updated on new Power BI features and best practices, occasionally developing custom visuals or utilizing Python/R integration. This role will require you to be proactive, detail-oriented, and adept at both technical and communication skills to effectively contribute to the generation of valuable insights for the organization.,
