Job Description
As a seasoned professional in the banking industry, you will be responsible for an array of key accountabilities. Your role will involve performing end-to-end testing for various systems of SFS, controlling costs within defined budgets, defining and measuring process improvements, handling regulatory audits, ensuring regulatory reporting and adherence to guidelines by various regulators, demonstrating sound knowledge of custody operations, managing process risks, and ensuring that systems are aligned with business requirements. In your day-to-day job duties and responsibilities, you will focus on ensuring that staff is adequately trained for all processes they handle, tracking JIRAs for both production and UAT, analyzing manual processes for potential automation, preparing and reviewing CR/BRD/FSD documents, creating awareness of the regulatory environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, covering for staff on leave, handling Settlement/Corporate Actions and other integral parts of SFS, completing Custody Billing, Accrual, and receipt for all custody clients at various intervals, managing RCSA/Depository and various regulatory audits, guiding and assisting Operations units and branches with process and account-related queries, and maintaining compliance with internal and external regulations. Additionally, you will be expected to proactively liaise with Product, Sales, and Branch Operations heads to ensure smooth operations. To excel in this role, you are required to have at least 8-10 years of experience in banking, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial position. A post-graduate degree along with qualifications such as CA/CIWA/MBA (Finance) are preferred. Your core competencies should include strong skills in process management, people management, leadership, and problem-solving. Your ability to strategize effectively will be crucial to your success in this position.,
