Job Description
Role: Electric Vehicle / S-HEV Calibration & Validation Engineer Responsibilities: Perform vehicle level calibration and evaluation of HEV/EV system Plan & Execute long term validation of EV / HEVs Preparation of DoE, execution, analysis, and reporting Perform root-cause analysis of the issues encountered Implement countermeasures during development Performance Testing / benchmarking, and database creation Working with stakeholders within the organization and outside (suppliers, consultants) for above development Technical/ Functional: Good knowledge of EV/HEV vehicle systems & Powertrain engineering Good knowledge of high-level performance requirements of vehicles Exposure to Hybrid / Electric vehicle performance verification and Validation Prior experience in vehicle calibration tools such as INCA or equivalent is required Experience in vehicle testing on chassis dyno, on road and on test track Hands on experience on usage of Chassis Dyno, emission analyser system, for testing & calibration of Electric and Hybrid electric vehicles for performance and energy efficiency Exposure to engine/vehicle calibration for FE, Emissions & performance. This includes Fuel Economy/CO2, emission testing as per regulations and engineering standards Exposure to appropriate Regulations and Standards of HEV/EV such as AIS 038, AIS 039, AIS 040, AIS 102, AIS 048, AIS 137 etc. Behavioral Proactive, excellent in taking initiatives Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills Self-Starter & Team-player Should be open to posting anywhere as per the job requirement Education Qualifications Essential: B.E / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Communication Minimum 60 % marks Desirable: M.E / M. Tech in Control Systems / Power Electronics / Mechatronics and project work related to Electric Vehicle / Hybrid Electric Vehicle.,
