Role :- Admission counselor

Salary :- Upto 25k PM
Location :- Ahmedabad
Notice period :- 30 days Max
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related discipline.
Experience:
Prior experience in admissions counseling or related roles within an educational institution is highly desirable.
Demonstrated success in student recruitment, enrollment management, or admissions processes.
Experience in working with diverse student populations and understanding their unique needs and challenges.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to effectively communicate with prospective students, families, and other stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and establish positive relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Counseling Skills:
Proficiency in providing guidance and support to prospective students throughout the admissions process.
Ability to assess student needs and aspirations, and provide appropriate guidance and resources.
Knowledge of counseling techniques and best practices in student advising.
Knowledge of Admissions Process:
Understanding of the college/university admissions process, including application requirements, deadlines, and procedures.
Familiarity with standardized testing (e.g., SAT, ACT) and proficiency in interpreting test scores.
Knowledge of financial aid options, scholarships, and tuition assistance programs.
Technology Skills:
Proficiency in using computer applications and CRM software for managing student data and communications.
Teamwork and Collaboration:
Ability to work effectively as part of a team within the admissions office and collaborate with other departments
Willingness to participate in admissions events, recruitment fairs, and other promotional activities both on and off-campus.
