• Operational Oversight: Manage and oversee the daily operations of the acetylene production plant, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
• Process Optimization: Implement advanced process control (APC) techniques to enhance production efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Safety Management: Develop and enforce safety management systems (SMS) to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations.
• Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain stringent quality control protocols to ensure product consistency and compliance with industry standards.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to acetylene production, including equipment malfunctions and process deviations.
• Resource Management: Efficiently manage resources, including raw materials, energy, and manpower, to maximize operational efficiency.
• Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics and process simulation software to monitor and improve production metrics.
• Maintenance Planning: Develop and oversee preventive maintenance schedules for critical equipment to minimize downtime.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies to enhance process reliability and productivity.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a team of engineers and operators, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Experience: 17-22 years of experience in acetylene production and operations management within the petrochemical industry.
