The Great Place to Work Assessment, based on rigorous and independent assessment, is considered a Gold Standard in measuring workplace satisfaction Job Title: Senior Accounting Specialist Experience Level: 5-7 Years Location: Pune Department: Finance & Accounting Key Responsibilities: Accounts Receivable (AR) Function and Month-End and Annual closing of Financial Reporting Monitor AR aging reports and work closely with the sales team to minimize overdue accounts and improve cash flow. Ensure accurate allocation of revenue across departments, business units, and projects. Prepare Bad debts provisioning working, Perform Revenue variance analysis to compare actuals with previous data, identifying key trends and providing explanations for significant discrepancies. Intercompany transactions and reconciliation Month end and endyear end process. Monthly financial statements (balance sheet, Profit and loss statement, and statement of cash flows) Manage the accrual process for revenue recognition, ensuring timely and accurate recording of revenue. Qualifications & Skills: Masters degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (Articleship or equivalent certification preferred). 5-7 years of hard-core experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably in a corporate setting. Hands-on experience with accounts receivable functions and related processes. Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) Excellent Communication, and problem-solving skills,
