The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate accounting records, and supporting project cost control activities. Key Responsibilities: Maintain project-specific cost tracking, including labor, materials, subcontractor invoices, and overheads. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.). Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for ongoing and upcoming projects. Support audit processes, both internal and external. Prepare and manage MIS reports, including variance analysis and cost-to-complete projections. Reconcile project budgets with actual expenses and highlight deviations. Maintain accounting systems and suggest improvements where needed. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA Inter or equivalent is a plus). 3 to 5 years of accounting experience in the construction or infrastructure industry. Strong understanding of project accounting, WIP (Work-in-Progress), and contract billing. Familiarity with construction-specific software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems like SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar). Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools. Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills: Experience with contractor and subcontractor billing. Knowledge of RERA, project cost capitalization, and revenue recognition (as per AS/Ind AS). Understanding of inventory and material management systems in construction.
