Job Description
Responsibilities: Financial management: Managing budgets, financial systems, and accounting records Financial reporting: Preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements Tax planning: Advising on tax planning and tax issues, and preparing and filing tax returns Accounting: Managing the accounts team for proper accounting and bookkeeping. Financial audits: Conducting financial audits and reviewing tax forms Financial audits: Revenue recognition, utilize accounting software and tools to streamline revenue recognition and financial management processes. Risk analysis: Analyzing risk and reviewing a company's systems Compliance: Ensuring compliance with national and international financial regulatory laws Team management: Managing junior colleagues and building high-performing teams Communication: Liaising with clients and internal and external auditors Qualification: Semi CA qualified. Desired Profile of the candidate: Experience in a corporate accounts team Expert knowledge of manual & computerized book-keeping. Expertise in accounting and usage of Tally. ERP. Proficiency indirect taxes with special emphasis on TDS calculations and filing TDS returns. Proficiency in indirect taxes including filing of returns, refunds & audits. Strong mathematical, analytical, leadership and problem-solving skills. Proficient in use of MS Office Application Meticulous in organizing data and record keeping. Good organizational skills, multi-tasking, capability to establish, priorities & manage workloads. Good oral, written communication in English language and excellent people management skills. Exposure to management reporting requirements. Any other certification in the usage of accounting applications, quality certifications (e.g. Six Sigma, etc.) would be an added advantage.
