As an Accountant with CA Inter qualification, you will play a crucial role in our finance team based in Nilankarai, Chennai. Your responsibilities will include managing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial statements, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with taxation laws. You should have a minimum of 14 years of experience post CA Inter, with a strong understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and income tax regulations. Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software like SAP/Zoho will be essential for this role. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently to meet deadlines will be highly valued. Key Responsibilities: - Handling journal entries, ledger maintenance, and day-to-day accounting tasks - Preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements - Supporting statutory and internal audits - Assisting in GST, TDS, and income tax return filing - Conducting bank and vendor reconciliations, and managing intercompany transactions - Maintaining fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules - Conducting budgeting and variance analysis - Ensuring adherence to accounting standards and internal policies - Coordinating with external consultants and auditors Requirements: - CA Inter cleared (Mandatory) - Minimum 14 years of relevant work experience - Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and income tax laws - Proficient in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software (SAP/Zoho preferred) - Strong communication and analytical skills - Ability to work effectively in a full-time role This position requires your presence in Nilankarai, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
