Job Overview
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Accountant to ensure our financial operations are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on structure, precision, and contributing to the financial clarity and efficiency of a growing food enterprise. The Accountant will work closely with the Senior Accountant and CA, taking ownership of accounting entries, compliance, payroll, and reporting.

Academic Qualification: Graduate in Commerce (B.Com or similar); additional certifications in Tally, GST, or accounting software preferred
Reports To: Senior Accountant / Business Owner
Experience Desired: 2 to 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a small or mid-sized enterprise environment
Responsibilities:
- Record and reconcile daily financial transactions in Tally and maintain physical records
- Manage sales, purchase, expense, and bank entries
- Handle payroll processing, salary disbursements, and reimbursements
- Ensure timely and accurate GST filing, TDS deductions, and statutory compliance
- Support audit preparations and coordinate with external CAs or auditors
- Prepare and submit MIS reports to aid business decision-making
- Coordinate with internal departments (sales, operations, inventory) for financial accuracy
- Maintain organized, accurate, and confidential financial records and vouchers
- Suggest improvements for financial systems and processes
- Stay updated with compliance and accounting standards
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in Tally and familiarity with accounting tools
- Working knowledge of GST, payroll, reconciliations, and statutory compliance
- Strong documentation and record-keeping habits
- High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and ethical integrity
- Excellent coordination and follow-up with vendors, staff, and auditors
- Systematic, organized, and methodical in managing financial records
- Ownership mindset dependable, proactive, and accountable
- Willingness to learn and grow in a high-performance team environment
