Job Description
Job Title: Accountant Location: Sakinaka Key Responsibilities: - Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial records. - Ensure timely and accurate deduction of TDS, and compliance with all related regulations. - Coordinate with Chartered Accountants for audits, financial reviews, and statutory compliance. - Draft and review terms and conditions for various business agreements, ensuring they are legally sound and meet company standards. - Develop and monitor budgets, providing financial forecasts and variance analysis to management. - Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, preparing and submitting tax returns, and liaising with tax authorities as needed. - Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions, identifying trends and providing recommendations for cost savings and efficiency improvements. - Stay updated with financial regulations and legislation to ensure compliance and mitigate financial risks. - Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function and implement best practices. - Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the firm. - Prepare returns including income tax and GST returns. - Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting to provide insights on the financial health of the firm. - Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. - Monitor the firm's cash flow and ensure sufficient funds are available to meet financial obligations. - Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. - Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement financial policies and procedures. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Tally. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
