Job Title: Accountant Location: Bhubaneswar Reports to: CFO Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and support the financial health of the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with Tally accounting software, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and standards. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update financial records and ledgers. Prepare and analyze financial reports such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements. Reconcile bank statements and monitor daily cash flow. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes. Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, including TDS, GST, and income tax. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation. Monitor and control company expenses. Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation records. Collaborate with external auditors, consultants, and vendors as required. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven work experience as an accountant or in a similar role. Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems. Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards and taxation (GST, TDS, etc.). Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: B.Com Graduate / CA Inter or semi-qualified CA preferred. Experience in Trading industry is a plus.
