As an Account Executive - Imaging System at Philips, your primary responsibility will be managing sales in a defined territory. You will be expected to achieve set targets, oversee distributors, dealers, prescribing physicians, and end users, and develop and maintain relationships with key customers. Your role will involve the management of sales in a specific region, ensuring the achievement of pre-defined sales volumes and profit goals, and gaining market information to secure and maintain the targeted market share in the assigned product category. You will be required to enhance sales at existing customers, improve customer satisfaction, and establish business relationships with medical distributors, dealers, physicians, and other hospital authorities to expand markets in the targeted region. Maintaining up-to-date records of sales activities by distributors, informing competition information, and having a comprehensive knowledge of company products will be crucial aspects of your job. Moreover, you will need to understand Company people and processes related to customer service, products, programs, technical support, product financing, and shipping to create mutually beneficial outcomes for customers while ensuring acceptable profitability for the company. The minimum educational requirement for this role is a full-time graduate degree, preferably in BE or any science field, with an MBA/PGDM being preferred. You should have a strong background in monitoring products and a minimum of 8 to 10 years of sales experience in medical equipment, particularly with hospital monitoring products.
