The Indian Army General Duty (GD) exam is a recruitment examination conducted by the Indian Army. It is held for the selection of candidates as General Duty soldiers in the Indian Army.   • Medical Examination: Shortlisted candidates from the PFT undergo a comprehensive medical examination to ensure they meet the required medical standards for General Duty soldiers.
  • Written Examination: Candidates who qualify in the PFT and medical examination may be required to appear for a written examination, which may include questions on General Knowledge, General Science, Mathematics, and Reasoning.
