Job Description
As a Software Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for documenting detailed Test Cases for business use cases and specified functionalities. You will design, develop, and execute automated test scripts utilizing Rest Assured and Selenium. Your role will involve conducting API testing to ensure the reliability and performance of our services. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to comprehend requirements and offer feedback on testability will be a key part of your responsibilities. You are expected to identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in the application. Additionally, maintaining and enhancing the existing automation framework, participating in code reviews, and providing constructive feedback are essential tasks. Ensuring comprehensive test coverage and enhancing test efficiency will also be part of your role. To excel in this position, you should possess proficiency in Rest Assured and Selenium with 2 to 4.5 years of experience. A strong knowledge of API testing, a basic understanding of Java programming, and experience with version control systems such as Git are required. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, strong communication, and teamwork abilities are crucial for success in this role. Familiarity with Elastic and Mongo DB is a plus.,
