As a QA Specialist based in Mumbai with over 5 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in upholding the quality standards of our authentic ethnic food products. A Bachelors degree in food science, Food Technology, Biochemistry, Agriculture, Nutrition, Home Science or a related field is required for this position. Your responsibilities will include analyzing various food products using lab techniques, demonstrating good organoleptic senses for product and sensory evaluation, and being open to travel as per business requirements. Ideal candidates for this role should have prior experience working with snacks, frozen food (snacks, curries, sweets, vegetables, etc.) in a factory setup. Additionally, knowledge of lab techniques, fundamental quality assurance technology, and basic understanding of Quality Assurance, GFSI, Regulatory standards (such as US FDA, FSMA), USDA, and export regulations will be highly beneficial.
