Job Description

The Lead Salesforce Developer within the BTT (Business Technology and Transformation) team will collaborate with other developers, architects, admins, QA, release, and Engineering managers to deliver new innovative solutions on the Salesforce platform. Toast has ambitious plans for the future, and this role will assist in making them happen. You will spend the majority of your time working on Salesforce related development tasks, requiring a high degree of technical expertise. This includes working on the Salesforce platform, APEX, VF pages, Aura, Lightning Web components, web services, mentoring team members, following design best practices, performing code reviews, deploying processes, and ensuring the highest quality code delivery. You will assist in developing project estimates and plans, accurately sizing stories based on SCRUM process, delivering work on time, escalating blockers, troubleshooting issues, and keeping up-to-date on Salesforce technologies and best practices. Additionally, you will need to have at least 10 years of Salesforce development experience in an Enterprise environment, advanced experience with Salesforce platform features, Salesforce Sales Cloud or Service Cloud, Salesforce CPQ configuration and implementation, and experience in the Quote to Cash domain. As a Lead Salesforce Developer, you will be required to have Salesforce Platform Developer I & II certifications, Salesforce CPQ certification is a plus, experience in stakeholder management, the ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and possess an engineering or equivalent educational background. You will also need to work in a hybrid mode with 3 days in the office per week. Bonus skills include experience using ServiceNow or similar tools, Jira, version control tools like GitHub, and Salesforce CI/CD tools like Copado.
