Job Title: Elevator Technician Location: Gujarat State Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Elevator Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and modernization of elevators, and moving walkways, ensuring their safe and efficient operation in compliance with industry standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities: Installation: Assemble and install elevator systems, escalators, and moving walkways according to blueprints and technical specifications. Maintenance: Conduct regular preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment. Repairs: Diagnose malfunctions, replace or repair defective components, and ensure timely resolution of issues. Safety Compliance: Perform safety inspections and tests to comply with local and national safety regulations. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients regarding service schedules, repairs, and safety protocols. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency service calls and perform necessary repairs to restore equipment functionality. Qualifications: Education: ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in elevator installation and maintenance. Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting technical diagrams and blueprints. Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Physical Requirements: Ability to work at heights, lift heavy equipment, and work in confined spaces. Preferred Attributes: Familiarity with various brands and models of elevator systems. Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations. Good communication skills in English and local languages. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
