Job Description

Position: VS Code Plugin Developer (Remote)

Experience Required: 5-10 years

Technical Requirements:

  • Essential:

    • 5+ years in VS Code plugin development.
    • Extensive experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
    • Proven track record in developing VS Code extensions/plugins.
    • Proficiency in Node.js and npm/yarn for dependency management.
    • Familiarity with the VS Code API.
    • Strong skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.

  • Desirable:

    • Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js).
    • Knowledge of testing frameworks.
    • Proficiency in Git for version control.

Non-Technical Requirements:

  • Eager to learn and explore new technologies.
  • Enthusiastic about leading new initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop VS Code extensions/plugins.
  • Ensure plugin compatibility across various VS Code versions and adhere to best practices.
  • Create responsive UI components within the VS Code environment.
  • Monitor and optimize plugin performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, designers, and product managers.
