1. Technical Support:
- Level 2 technical support with a specialization in security-related issues.
- Resolve escalated support tickets related to VAPT, server administration, and network/security devices.
2. Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT):
- Demonstrate expertise in VAPT methodologies and tools.
- Conduct security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and propose remediation measures.
3. Server Administration:
- Administer and maintain servers, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Troubleshoot server-related issues and implement necessary solutions.
4. Network and Security Devices:
- Possess knowledge of network architecture, protocols, and security devices (firewalls, IDS/IPS).
- Configure and troubleshoot network and security devices as needed.
5. Communication:
- Communicate effectively with end-users and clients, providing clear and concise technical guidance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in knowledge sharing.
6. Documentation:
- Maintain detailed documentation of security measures, VAPT findings, and server/network configurations.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of knowledge base articles.
7. Training and Awareness:
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and industry best practices.
- Provide training and awareness sessions for Level 1 support engineers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in a technical support role, with a focus on security.
- Strong understanding of VAPT processes and tools.
- Proficiency in server administration (Windows/Linux).
- Knowledge of network architecture, protocols, and security devices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic Level 2 technical knowledge.
- Must have experience in Banking sector who has knowledge of G Suite/ MS license/ hardware/Software/network.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications in relevant security and IT areas (e.g., CEH, CompTIA Security+).
- Experience with security tools (e.g., Nessus, Metasploit).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Understanding of ITIL or other service management frameworks.
