As a senior level database specialist, you will contribute to and develop a distributed data architecture on modern Cloud native database like Yugabyte. The solution will cater to large financial institutions running mission critical applications demanding high availability and resilience across cloud regions. This will be green field deployment of the database for next generation core banking platform

[WHAT YOU WILL DO]
• Installation, upgradation and management of database. 
• Consult, design and deliver everything related with databases and data – acquire, maintain, transform, migrate and analyses. 
• Troubleshoot database issues, maintain database systems availability and scalability. 
• Monitor and optimize database performance and capacity planning. 
• Troubleshoot database issues, maintain database systems availability and scalability. 
• Maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges). 
• Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards. 
• Perform Database Transaction logs, Database Index and statistics maintenance
• Translate user requirements into technical solutions that are performing at large scale 
• Design, develop, test, implement the efficient data models to support business functions
