Operator/ Assistant Operator

Prayagh has a vast stretch over confectionery products. Starting with soft-boiled products ranging from Toffees to center-filled Eclairs (four flavors) and from center-filled Wafers to Shell Moulded chocolates, the company has lengthened it’s capacities beyond the skies.
Prayagh is certified by the newly fitted FSSC 22000 for ‘Organization’s food safety responsibilities’ and is also licensed by FSSAI.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

• Responsible to the Line Supervisor for the over-all performance of the assigned section. Tasked for the achieve set goals on productivity and efficiency, product quality, yields, personnel safety, sanitation/ housekeeping, GMP implementation and equipment upkeep & maintenance. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To give instructions to assistant operators and helpers concerning the operation.
• Set his machine to standard parameters prior to operation start-up.
• Reported to Leadsman any defective machine or parts.
• Maintain cleanliness of his equipment.
• Makes minor adjustments and repairs sanctioned and approved by engineering.
• Conducts necessary preparations prior to operation start-up.
• To follow Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) as set by the department.
• To check from time to time the progress of operations.
• Prepares daily report and submit it to his Supervisor.
• Participates in knowledge enhancement program initiated by management.
• Assists or be cross-posted at other operator’s job in case of personnel constrains.
• Recommends to supervisor to admonish anybody interfering with smooth flow of operation.
• Any other duty or function that may be deemed necessary as assigned by his Supervisor.
