Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. Chartered Tax Accountants must stay updated on legislative developments to advise multinational clients of the International Advisory Council (IAC) on tax compliance and financial implications. You will oversee financial management, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management. Additionally, you will work with senior management to develop financial plans and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:-
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Manage tax and accounts, including preparing and submitting accounts and tax returns, conducting accounts administration, auditing financial information, tax planning, and resolving accounting issues.
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-6, and annual returns) ensuring compliance with GST regulations.
• Manage outsourced accounting for both domestic and international clients.
• Possess strong knowledge of tax deductions at source, payroll management, invoicing, service tax, income tax, etc.
• Handle day-to-day accounting activities, including collections and bank activities, Tally data entry (invoices, receipts, payments, bank reconciliation), and preparation of debtors/creditors statements.
• Process all invoices, expense forms, and payment requests efficiently.
• Manage petty cash, including preparing bills and receipts.
• Ensure statutory compliance for Service Tax, TDS, and Profession Tax, and prepare returns for e-TDS, Service Tax, and Profession Tax.
• Prepare financial statements and business activity reports, and present them to top executives.

Desired Profile:-
• Proven work experience as a Finance Officer or in a similar role
• Solid understanding of financial and accounting procedures
• Experience with financial software, such as Zoho
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Strong time management abilities
• High ethical standards with the ability to handle confidential information
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred
• Professional qualification such as CFA or CPA is a plus
