Senior Hardware Validation Engineer

Position Summary:

The successful Lead/Senior Hardware validation engineer candidate will report to the Manager of Validation & Automation and will work with other functions of the company, including hardware engineering, automation, and operations. The candidate will be responsible for leading the validation efforts of Its propriety PCBs, working closely with engineering to debug & root cause any design issues with the hardware and iteratively improve the hardware validation processes. 

Responsibilities:

? Understand the design & schematics of different propriety circuit boards and come up with test strategies, and test plans to validate both the functional and stability requirements.

? Execute the test plan and provide accurate feedback of one devices under test.

? Design test boards  and test setup to effectively validate the PCBs

? Plan and execute various hardware validation activities like calibration & characterization.

? Work with & mentor junior hardware validation engineers and take ownership of the hardware validation deliverables.

? Design and iteratively improve the hardware validation processes within the organization.

? Work with the hardware automation engineers in the organization to define the automation requirements

? Work with the automation team and operations team to define the manufacturing validation setup and tests.

? Debug, troubleshoot, and  root cause to help fix issues on the hardware 

Requirements/Qualifications:

?       Bachelor or Masters in an electrical engineering discipline

?       8+ years in testing analog & digital hardware

?       Proven experience in creating test plans, designing test boards to validate PCBs

?       Good understanding of the PCB validation processes
