Job Description

Maintain and Manage Hardware:
- The IT Specialist will ensure operations are enabled via all "hardware". Hardware at this point is
cloud based infrastructure and physical work stations and mobile devices given to staff. The IT
specialist will ensure these items are managed and working for the business needs.
- Workstations: AWS EC2 (EBS, FSX, VPC), PC Windows, IAM
- Internet / Network / Server: VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, Subnets, QoS, Port forwarding, Log Analysis
- Storage: HDD, SSD, Large RAID, SAN, NAS, JBOD
- DevOps: CloudFormation, Elastic Beanstalk, AMI, Snapshots, Disaster Recovery

Maintain and Manage Software:
- The IT Specialist will ensure operations are enabled via all software. Software is everything
running on the cloud or on a computer or mobile device. This means planning, procuring, setting
up, and tearing down operating systems, processes, user accounts, etc.

Cloud environment setup and maintenance :
- Windows Desktop / Server: Windows Server 2008 - 2022; Windows Terminal Server / Remote
Desktop Services, Active Directory/Domain Controller (Group Policies, Certificates, RDP /
Remote Gateways) - Windows 10 including but not limited to: Workgroups, user, file sharing,
security, networking); Windows CMD / Powershell / Batch, Task Scheduling
- Linux / Server: Ubuntu, Centos, RHEL, CPanel / WHM, Bash, MySQL, Apache, Package
Management, Patching, Network Tables, Storage Management (ie. if brute force attack, then
band, reset, restart).
- Mobile: Android and iPhone app install and configuration
- Web / SaaS: GSuite, Salesforce Admin, Adobe CC
- DevOps: Chef, Cloudformation, Jenkins, Git / GitHub
- Communication Systems: Skype, Zoom, Google Meet

Equipment Procurement / Vendor Relations
- The IT Specialist must be able to identify problems, recommend solutions, estimate cost, get
approval from finance, and work with vendors to source and install equipment while minimizing
negative operations impact.
- Spec: Define hardware requirements with business leads
- Procure: Identify, evaluate, and maintain vendor relationships, Order Equipment
- Coordinate: Plan, track, coordinate, shipping and installation of any hardware to and from
vendors
- P/L: Track financial expenditure and liability of equipment, audit and verify invoicing from
vendors, resolve any discrepancies and disputes
- Support: Work with vendors on the ground when service or implementations required

Technical Support / IT Help Desk Role
- The IT Specialist will be a first point of contact to support and resolve issues from the Team
- End-User PC Support
- Remote Off-Site employee technical support
- On-Site employee technical support

Experience Essentials:

- IT or Engineering Degree / Certifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in a similar or related role
- Demonstrated success in related projects/system support

- Committed to meeting deadlines along with quality of delivery.
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong English and Hindi language communication.
- Strong prioritization and time-management skills.

Experience Nice to Haves:

- A people’s person; Passionate about building strong relationships and credibility with
stakeholders.
- Relevant vendor certification programs (ex AWS, Cisco, Microsoft)
- Additional years of demonstrated professional experience
- Technical Education in America or Europe
- Graduate from Top Tier University
- Master’s or higher degree
- Experience working directly with and for American managers / customers
- Ability to demonstrate exceptional skills in verbal and written competency tests
