App Support Intern

IndiQus is a fast-growing Cloud solutions company that works with Telecom Service Providers (Telcos, ISPs and Datacenter providers) globally and enables them to build a profitable in-country cloud business. With an increasing focus and legislation coming in on Data Localisation globally, there is a massive opportunity for cloud and managed service providers in developing countries to set up an in-country public cloud and offer IaaS/PaaS/SaaS to local Enterprises and SMBs. In emerging markets, service providers are often aware of the market potential arising out of data localization regulations but do not have a complete understanding of how to set up and run this business. We provide a 360-degree solution covering software, professional services and business consulting to enable the Service Provider to build and operate a local cloud business. Our customers include the likes of Airtel, Vodafone, Ooredoo, Sri Lanka Telecom, and Subisu/Datahub. We were ranked amongst the ten most innovative product startups for 2017 in India by NASSCOM.

App Support Intern
Qualification : BE/BTech/Mtech/BCA

The candidate will be responsible for:-
1. Maintaining, monitoring and troubleshooting 24x7 mission critical production systems.
2. Ensure monitored parameters are in order and solve/escalate in case of anomalies.
3. Ensure backups are maintained and scheduled jobs are completed.
4. Debug application-level issues and resolve or escalate to the engineering team.
5. Provide insights and feedback to the engineering and product teams.

Pre-requisites
Must be willing to work in shifts.
Thorough knowledge of Linux commands and Linux basics.
Excellent logical aptitude.
Thorough knowledge of at least one programming language.
Knowledge of at least one RDBMS.
Awareness on cloud technologies would be a definite plus.

Experience
Freshers will be considered for a paid internship.
0-1 years of experience candidates will be considered as L1 App Support consultant.
