What you need for this position:
→ Education: BE/BTech in Electronics and communications engineering / or electrical engineering / or equivalent, Post
graduate degree (MTech) will be a plus
→ Looking for engineers with 0 to 2 years of experience in embedded Linux development
→ Expert in C language and data structures (mandatory).
→ Good understanding of networking fundamentals, Ethernet 802.11 will be considered a plus
→ Experience with network socket programming will be considered a plus.
→ Experience in Linux Kernel/Device Driver Debugging/Development.
→ Good verbal/written communication skills
→ Team player
What you'll be doing:
→ Writing applications in C to interface with Linux device drivers.
→ Debugging and enhancing network device drivers.
→ Analyzing and profiling Linux kernel stacks using trace functions
→ Porting device drivers to newer kernel versions.
→ Building custom Linux kernels for embedded platforms.
→ Testing and generating reports as per the project requirements.
→ Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of customer reported issues
→ If on customer projects, then potential for interfacing with customers.
→ Implementing quality management system processed for your projects [Note: CouthIT is a CMMI level 3 appraised
company]
