Technical Support Engineer – Linux

Roles and Responsibilities

•        Server Monitoring, License Management, Installation and Configuration of Linux Systems

        Shell Scripting skills

•        OS performance tuning and advanced troubleshooting skills.
•         Additionally, the Linux Administrator will have varying degrees of responsibility for work processes,         optimization methods and risk management in large and complex projects
•         You will also be responsible for dealing with third party service delivery organization’s and business partners across geographies for delivering projects on a timely basis.
•         Experience in User Management in Linux and AWS.
•         Firewall setup and management in extraordinary manner

Desired Candidate Profile

•         Should have strong knowledge on Linux administration. (Version 6 and 7).
•         Should have knowledge on Linux OS installation, Software and Patch management, file permission, firewall setup, LVM, Samba, FTP configuration.
•         Should know how to debug/troubleshoot memory issues.
•         Good knowledge of the Linux system files, boot process, and Run levels.
•         Familiar with the configuration and maintenance of server and network hardware and Peripherals.
•         Advanced Networking knowledge - experience in physical firewalls
•         Good communication skills and pro-active to learn new technologies.
•         Graduation in any discipline and industry experience preferred
